UpStart Thrift Store awards needs-based grants starting at $500 to small business owners and entrepreneurs in Washington County, Arkansas. These grants are designed to remove small but significant barriers—whether that’s covering licensing fees, buying equipment, or launching a new product line.

Grant recipients are selected by the UpStart Thrift Store team in partnership with Startup Junkie Foundation leadership. Awards are made based on the merit of the application and the potential for community impact.

Eligibility:

  • Your business must be located in Washington County, AR

  • You must be able to demonstrate financial need

  • You must be an early-stage or growth-stage small business or entrepreneur

Application Deadlines

Grants are awarded quarterly. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but early submissions are encouraged.
